Property Marketing

As the Marketing & Design Coordinator for QM Properties, I gained experience across branding and graphic design, print and digital marketing. The main software used was Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Express.

Estate Branding

A major part of my role was the creation of marketing collateral for numerous residential estates in South-East Queensland.

Every estate has unique branding based on its product descriptors, such as ‘acreage’, ‘rural’, ‘waterfront’, and ‘luxury’. I’ve had the opportunity to lead the brand design for several estates from the concepting phase through to the final design.

My process starts with an initial concept (colour palette, style, inspiration), to creating preliminary sketches. From there, I will refine and render the strongest designs in Adobe Illustrator and make revisions based on feedback. I make sure to adhere to specific design constraints, for example: Estate logos are generally always a Combination Mark (estate name + related graphic/icon). When finalising any logo, a portrait and landscape version will be created for flexibility across online platforms, such as realestate.com and Domain.

Here is an example of a brand design for the Evergreen estate (actual name and location has been changed for privacy reasons):

Other design work

The below brochure was made for the Beachside estate in Hervey Bay. The intent of this brochure is to highlight the area’s local amenities and natural beauty, including its close proximity to K’gari (previously Fraser Island) and the Great Sandy Strait. I chose a navy blue and stone white colour palette, a classic serif font, and larger images for a luxurious and modern feel.

Along with the creation of traditional media, I also managed the social media pages for the company’s Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. This included a wide variety of post formats—such as Paid Meta Ad Campaigns, Short-form video, Informational carousels, land release updates and more.
